Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Shane O'Dazier has never done anything the conventional way.
In 2001, he left a trailer in Alabama — yes, a literal trailer — to chase a dream that most people would have talked him out of. He wanted to be a country music artist in Nashville. And against every odd, he pulled it off.
Within a few years he was turning heads at Mercury, Sony, and RCA. By 2006 he had offers from multiple major labels. His debut single "I Hate This Town" went to radio in 2008, and what followed was a 13-year career writing, recording, and touring.
Then in 2010, two things happened that changed everything.
He met his wife Jamie. And Nashville flooded.
What meteorologists called a 1,000-year flood devastated the city, leaving thousands of homes underwater and families with nowhere to turn. Shane was there. He saw the need, rolled up his sleeves, and got to work. That moment was his introduction to the restoration industry — and it turned out to be his calling.

He never looked back.
Sixteen years later, Shane will tell you he's a simple man. He moved his family to Lakewood Ranch, Florida and did what he's always done — got to work doing what he knows best. Restoration.
Bayside Restoration is named after his church, Bayside Community Church — a reflection of the community he's become a part of and the values he brings to every job.
With more hands-on water and mold damage experience than almost anyone you'll find in the country, Shane has built million-dollar restoration businesses and trained hundreds of contractors nationwide. Now he's doing it all over again, right here on the Gulf Coast.
Bayside Restoration is the next chapter. And if Shane's track record means anything, it's going to be a good one.
